The hotel is well-designed and clean, feeling like a small country inn/lounge. The room we had was perfect for a group/family. It consisted of two rooms: one room was large and partitioned with a queen bed in one-half and a single bed in the other. The other room had bunk beds. An entry hall connected to two bedrooms to a private bath. The common room had a nice fireplace, perfect for relaxing next to after a lounge hike. The restaurant served a very good breakfast and an amazing dinner. I highly recommend eating here at least one night. The hotel is very easy to find on the first street after entering El Chaltén.

Wonderful hospitality, exceptional service and impressive attention to detail. The food was very delicious, from the breakfast (I will be dreaming about those amazing cakes for years to come) to the dinner offerings. The property is very conveniently located right across the street from the bus station. The only downside is that it is about a mile walk to the other end of town where most of the trails start. Not a problem, just meant I got a lot of extra steps in during my stay.

Lovely hotel with lots of Charm. Located next to the bus station - so that is good + bad. A very ample breakfast buffet is provided with the room. Hotel also offers a nightly meal for a fee. We found the night meal to be very competitively priced and VERY good. Highly recommend. We had a very large family room (all that was available at time of booking.) If several people were traveling together - this room would work well - 3 separate bedrooms within one room.

Likes: rustic feel, breakfast was excellent, staff was excellent, laundry process was easy and cheap, bed was comfortable, lovely windows, nice hot water Dislikes: a bit far from the center of town (15 min walk), very poor soundproofing—I could hear the upstairs and next door neighbors talking, snoring etc, towels were not refreshed daily, lots of old people stayed there (if you’re a youth it might be more boring).

What a beautiful chalet with a great restaurant and excellent owners/staff. An alpine chalet with lots of wood. Our room was on the top floor and was spacious and beautiful. We had dinner at the restaurant which was very good and it’s an easy walk into town. The views of the mountains are spectacular and there’s easy access to lots of hikes. I would highly recommend.
